
Tax Internship - Spring 2027 - CPA Firm

We're seeking an accounting student to join our team as a part-time **Tax Intern** during the **Spring 2027 tax season** (January 18 through April 15). This position offers **meaningful work**, direct exposure to public accounting, and the opportunity to **learn from experienced Certified Public Accountants**.

**Responsibilities**
During the internship, you'll assist with a variety of tax season projects, including:
- Organizing confidential client tax information
- Digitizing and electronically filing documents
- Reviewing files for completeness and accuracy
- Preparing client deliverables for electronic and printed distribution
- Assisting with individual income tax return preparation after demonstrating proficiency and based on workload capacity
- Communicating professionally with clients and coworkers
- Working from our downtown Naperville office
**Qualifications**
Candidates should
- Be pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Be comfortable using Microsoft Office
- Demonstrate excellent organization and attention to detail
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be dependable and motivated to learn
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Have reliable transportation
**Work Schedule**
**Flexible scheduling** is available. Interns should be available to **work as many as 35 hours weekly**, Monday through Saturday, **during tax season**.
