We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Tax Manager to join our in-house tax team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a great opportunity to broaden your international tax exposure while working within a fast-paced, globally operating business.
The Role
You will play a key role across a broad range of tax disciplines — including Corporate Tax, VAT/GST and Transfer Pricing — spanning the UK and multiple international jurisdictions. Day to day, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across Tax and Finance, engage with senior stakeholders across the business, and work alongside our external tax advisors to ensure our global compliance and reporting obligations are met efficiently and on time. This role reports to the Director of Group Tax.
What You Will Be Doing
Assisting with UK and international corporate tax computations and returns
Preparing and submitting UK and international VAT/GST returns
Monitoring and managing tax filing and payment deadlines to ensure global compliance
Reconciling direct and indirect tax accounts within our accounting system
Preparing quarterly transfer pricing adjustments and supporting documentation across the group
Producing Withholding Tax documentation for our global business
Acting as a point of contact for tax queries from business units and internal stakeholders worldwide
Collaborating with external tax advisors and auditors, providing data and reviewing queries as required
Supporting on ad hoc projects and general team responsibilities as needed
What We Are Looking For
- Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrable tax experience gained in industry or a comparable role
- Tax experience in other jurisdictions : EMEA, US, Canada, LATAM, Asia Pacific (desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook
- ATT or CTA qualification is desirable — though not essential if you have practical experience
- Skills and Attributes
- A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Clear communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working to deadlines and managing competing priorities under pressure
- Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to take on new challenges
- A collaborative team player who builds strong relationships at all levels of the business
