Tax Manager, Asia Pac

As a member of the Lineage team, you are a critical link in the food supply chain. The Asia-Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore employing nearly 3000 team members. Position Details As our Tax Manager, Asia Pacific, you will take ownership of the tax function across a diverse and growing region encompassing Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

Reporting directly to the Director, International Tax based at our global headquarters in Michigan, USA, you'll have the rare opportunity to lead regional tax strategy while partnering with a highly collaborative global tax team. This is a high-impact role suited to an experienced tax professional seeking to move into a broad commercial position with significant autonomy, exposure to senior stakeholders and involvement in strategic business initiatives, acquisitions and regional growth.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leading all aspects of the Asia-Pacific tax function, including direct and indirect taxation, tax strategy, transfer pricing, tax accounting, tax compliance, audits and cross-border projects. Key

responsibilities

include: Leading the tax function across Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. Managing tax accounting processes and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. [ Driving regional tax strategy and identifying tax planning, optimisation and efficiency opportunities.

Partnering with M&A teams and external advisers on acquisitions, disposals, due diligence and restructuring activities. Overseeing income tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing and other statutory compliance obligations. Managing tax risk and supporting tax governance across the region.

Liaising with external auditors, tax advisers and revenue authorities. Advising business leaders on the tax implications of commercial decisions and strategic initiatives. Supporting US REIT testing and APAC REIT compliance initiatives.

[ About You We're looking to appoint an experienced and commercially minded tax professional who enjoys working across multiple jurisdictions and partnering closely with the business.

qualifications

in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline. CA, CPA and/or Master of Tax qualifications. Extensive

experience

within a Big 4 or leading professional services environment and/or a large multinational organisation. In-depth knowledge of corporate income tax, indirect taxes and transfer pricing.

Experience

managing tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills. The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced environment.
