Tax Manager - Construction (Remote in USA)

**About this Job:**

We are seeking a talented Tax Manager with construction experience to join our expanding team! This position is fully remote, based in the U.S.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

• Provide advanced specialized tax expertise
• Review research findings, tax returns, and work papers; formulate conclusions consistent with firm policies and professional standards; determine implications and best course of action for the client
• Ensure all tax advice is technically correct and properly documented
• Understand the firms policies, procedures, and professional standards
• Demonstrate strong communication skills
• Dedicate time to coaching and developing others through training, providing opportunities for them to succeed
• Actively communicate the clients needs and facts to the appropriate team members to execute the work
• Build relationships across industry service groups to ensure client service excellence through an integrated approach
• Develop trust with clients and team members
• Manage the progression of quality deliverables on time, within scope, and within budget or realization goal

**Qualifications:**

• Must be motivated, able to multi-task, and organized; maintain a positive attitude; be cooperative and flexible about work assignments and in assisting other team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting (MST/MBA is a plus)
• CPA license
• 5+ years of work experience; prior experience in the construction industry is a must
• Strong technical skills in taxation
