Introduction GlobalFoundries Tax Operations is growing, and we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Tax Manager to lead our in-house Tax Operations Center of Excellence (COE). This role is critical in standardizing, scaling, and executing global tax operations while driving technology integration and operational excellence.

As part of the Global Tax Compliance & Reporting team, the Experienced Tax Manager will lead large-scale tax initiatives, enhance automation and digitization efforts, and collaborate closely with senior leadership to achieve strategic and operational goals. Your Job As an Experienced Tax Manager, you will: Lead and manage the in-house Tax Operations Center of Excellence (COE) to standardize and scale global tax operations Drive transformation into a technology-enabled tax function through automation, digitization, and process optimization Lead large and complex tax projects, ensuring timely execution and operational excellence Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders across geographies to achieve business objectives Oversee operations across multiple tax domains including International Tax, U.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all GlobalFoundries environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and procedures Support company initiatives related to ethics, compliance, and regulatory

requirements

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with enterprise-wide operational excellence goals Required

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline (MBA preferred) Enrolled Agent (EA) certification Minimum of 10 years of relevant

experience

in tax compliance and reporting Strong project management

experience

with proven ability to manage large-scale initiatives Demonstrated

experience

leading and developing high-performing tax teams Strong analytical and problem-solving

skills

with the ability to manage complexity Excellent written and verbal communication

skills

with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels Proven

experience

working in cross-functional and geographically diverse teams Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Willingness to work in shifts supporting U.S. time zones (approximately 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST) Preferred
