About the Role

We're looking for a Tax Manager to join our corporate tax team. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to our income tax provision, corporate tax compliance, and transfer pricing processes, while helping shape how we use AI and technology to modernize the tax function. You'll also play a hands-on role in exciting, high-impact work — including supporting data center expansion projects and pursuing valuable tax incentives.

This is a highly collaborative position that partners closely with accounting, finance, legal, and external advisors. If you're a technically strong tax professional who loves rolling up your sleeves and driving projects to the finish line, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

Prepare and review the quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740, including current and deferred taxes, valuation allowance analysis, uncertain tax positions, and financial statement disclosures. Manage U. S.

federal, state, and local corporate income tax compliance, including returns, estimated payments, and extensions. Support transfer pricing processes — intercompany transaction analysis, documentation, intercompany agreements, and intercompany accounting — and coordinate with external advisors on transfer pricing studies. Assist with Canadian tax matters, including compliance, provision support, and cross-border considerations.

Manage or support indirect tax processes, including sales and use tax (SUT), VAT, and property tax compliance, filings, and audits. Support data center site selection and expansion projects from a tax perspective, including pursuing and negotiating tax incentives (credits, abatements, sales tax exemptions, and negotiated incentive packages) and managing ongoing incentive compliance.

Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from taxing authorities. Maintain and execute SOX internal controls over tax processes and keep related documentation current. Conduct tax research using AI-enabled tools and leading research platforms, and document tax positions in clear, conclusive technical memos.

Integrate AI into tax workflows to streamline workpaper creation, memo drafting, and data consolidation. Monitor tax legislative and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company. Partner cross-functionally with accounting, FP&A, treasury, and legal, and collaborate with external auditors and advisors.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA required. 6+ years of progressive corporate tax experience (Tax Manager) or 8+ years (Senior Tax Manager).

Strong ASC 740 expertise, with a demonstrated record of preparing and reviewing income tax provisions. Excellent corporate tax compliance expertise across federal and state income tax. Transfer pricing exposure, including intercompany agreements and intercompany accounting experience.

Experience with indirect taxes — SUT, VAT, and property tax. Experience with SOX controls and related documentation. Strong tax research skills using AI-enabled tools and platforms such as CCH, Bloomberg Tax, or Thomson Reuters, with the ability to document positions in well-supported memos.

A proven history of strong performance within a corporate (in-house) tax department. A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach and a demonstrated ability to drive projects through to completion. Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex tax matters to non-tax stakeholders.

Proficiency with tax provision and compliance software (e. g. , OneSource, Corptax) and advanced Excel skills.

Nice to Have Big 4 public accounting experience. Canadian tax experience (compliance, provision, or cross-border matters). Master's degree in Taxation (MST).
