Tax Manager

**Pay:** $145,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year

**Location**

On-site in Torrance, California — work closely with leadership and clients in a collaborative, in-person environment.

**Note**

This role is targeted at Tax Managers and above. Strong Tax Seniors may be considered. Staff-level candidates are not eligible.

**Job Description**

• Manage and review complex individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax engagements
• Serve as a primary client advisor, building and maintaining strong relationships
• Oversee workflow, scheduling, and delegation for seniors and staff
• Review tax returns and technical positions to ensure quality and compliance
• Mentor and develop team members through feedback, training, and leadership
• Collaborate with partners on planning strategies and technical matters
• Stay current on tax law changes and industry best practices

**Qualifications**

• CPA license required
• 4+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Experience managing engagements and reviewing work
• Strong technical tax knowledge across multiple entity types
• Proven ability to mentor, lead, and communicate effectively
• Stable employment history with solid tenure preferred
