**Location**

On-site in Victoria, TX. Youll work in-office with your team, while enjoying the lower cost of living and easy access to nearby towns and the Gulf Coast.

**Note**

To be considered, you must have an active CPA, 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax, and be willing to work on-site in Victoria, Texas.

**Job Description**

  • Lead individual, trust, corporate, and partnership tax engagements from planning through final technical review and delivery.
  • Oversee tax compliance requirements and drive proactive tax planning and consulting for your client portfolio.
  • Manage client deadlines, filing requirements, and billing/collections for assigned engagements.
  • Research complex tax issues and provide clear, practical recommendations to clients and internal teams.
  • Review work prepared by staff, provide coaching and feedback, and help ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Partner with firm leadership on process improvements, quality control, and best practices across the tax department.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the year.

**Qualifications**

  • CPA certification required.
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience with significant tax engagement responsibility.
  • Experience reviewing returns and leading client-facing tax engagements.
  • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and team collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and a heavy workload.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindset.
