Why this role matters As Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring Scatec maintains a strong, compliant, and tax-efficient position across its operations in Egypt. You will provide expert guidance on direct and indirect tax matters, support strategic business decisions, and help manage tax risks while ensuring compliance with local and international tax requirements.

Working closely with Finance, Legal, and external advisors, you will contribute to business growth by developing effective tax strategies, supporting transactions, and ensuring the organisation remains aligned with evolving tax regulations and reporting requirements. What you’ll be doing In this role, you will take ownership of tax compliance, reporting, and advisory activities, including: Ensure timely and accurate filing of direct and indirect tax returns while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, and authorities on tax filings, reviews, audits, and controversy matters Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential impacts on the business Oversee tax accounting activities, including tax provisions, reconciliations, deferred tax, and financial reporting disclosures Support the development and implementation of tax-efficient structures and strategies aligned with business objectives Provide tax guidance on mergers, acquisitions, corporate transactions, and project development activities Partner with Finance and Legal teams to optimise organisational structures, contracts, and cross-border tax arrangements Act as the internal subject matter expert on tax matters and support financial modelling and project-related tax assessments Your work will directly support sound business decisions, strengthen compliance, and contribute to Scatec’s long-term financial performance and growth.
