About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Officerto join our client team. The ideal candidate will be responsible

for managing tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with Nigerian tax

regulations, and supporting the organization in maintaining accurate tax

records and payments.

Requirements

✅ bachelor’s

degree in accounting, Finance, or Financial Audit.

✅ Minimum of 3 years’experience in a finance or tax-related role.

✅ Strong knowledge of Nigeriantax laws and regulations.

✅ Proficiency in MicrosoftExcel and Word.

✅ Excellent attention to detail

and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle selected state government audits.
• Collect, review, and update local state tax laws.
• Prepare and implement annual tax payment plans.
• Gather tax vouchers and receipts from stores and maintain comprehensive tax files.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
