Our client, a well-established and respected accounting and advisory firm in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a **Tax Senior Manager**to join their growing team.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Communicate with clients to gather tax organizers and any missing information to complete tax

preparation

  • Preparation of complex individual tax returns
  • Preparation of complex business tax returns, information returns, and other compliance returns
  • Review of individual and business tax returns
  • Communicate with clients across the country regarding tax matters
  • Communicate with IRS and other tax authorities as an advocate on behalf of clients
  • Provide accounting support through AJEs and TJEs to clients
  • Assist with company payroll and understand federal and state compliance requirements
  • Track fixed assets, inventory and prepare depreciation schedules
  • Manage client assignments to ensure that firm and professional standards are met
  • All other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Company management

Requirements

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA/EA (Preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting
  • 3+ years of experience preparing tax returns at a CPA firm
  • 3+ years of experience preparing individual federal and state tax returns
  • 3+ years of experience preparing business (1120, 1120-S, 1065, 1041) tax returns
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP/Tax Differences
  • Must be able to effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills with pivot table experience
  • Strong knowledge of IRS and regulations, various tax forms, filing requirements and deadlines
  • Tax preparation software experience with Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065, 1041 and 1040

**Education:**

  • Associates Degree (Required)
  • Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

**Experience:**

  • Tax experience: 3+ years (Required)
  • Accounting experience: 3+ years (Preferred)

**License/Certification:**

  • CPA/EA (Preferred)

**Office Setting:**

  • Monday-Friday
  • In Office
