EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join our Private Client Services Trust & Estate / High-Net-Worth team in Minneapolis, MN. This is a targeted opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys advising high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, trusts, estates, family offices, and closely held business owners on complex tax planning and compliance matters.
In this role, you will oversee multiple client engagements, build trusted client relationships, support business development efforts, and mentor and develop team members. This is an opportunity to help shape and grow a specialized Trust & Estate / High-Net-Worth practice in Minneapolis, while leveraging the resources and depth of a national PCS platform.

What Work You Will be Responsible For
- Supervise, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, service-oriented environment.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, trusts, estates, family offices, and closely held business owners.
- Review complex individual, fiduciary, gift, and estate tax returns.
- Manage a portfolio of clients and act as the primary point of contact in conjunction with the engagement partner and client service team.
- Advise clients on income tax planning, wealth transfer planning, trust and estate matters, charitable giving strategies, and multigenerational family tax considerations.
- Serve as a primary client contact, in partnership with engagement partners and client service teams, providing proactive guidance and building long-term trusted advisor relationships.
- Collaborate with PCS leadership and specialists across tax, advisory, SALT, international tax, and related service areas to deliver integrated planning, consulting, and compliance solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal team members, and external advisors, including attorneys, financial advisors, and other third-party client service providers.
- Support the continued growth of the Minneapolis trust and estate / high-net-worth practice through exceptional client service, relationship development, market presence, and business development efforts.
- Participate in client and prospective client meetings, seminars, and networking opportunities to help expand relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Stay current on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and proactively apply new knowledge to client engagements.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop team members, including reviewing work, providing feedback, and supporting professional growth.
- Hold self and direct reports accountable for achieving developmental goals and delivering high-quality work.
- Support the growth of the Minneapolis Trust & Estate / High-Net-Worth PCS practice through client service, relationship development, networking, and business development efforts.
- Occasional local travel to client locations may be required.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
- 8+ years of recent (within 2 years) tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or a combination of public accounting and private industry experience.
- Experience preparing and/or reviewing U.S.-based tax returns for individuals, trusts, and estates.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, family groups, closely held businesses, fiduciary returns, or related private client tax matters.
- CPA, JD, or IRS Enrolled Agent certification required.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications
- Experience with trust, estate, gift, and fiduciary tax matters.
- Experience advising high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, or multigenerational family groups.
- Familiarity with charitable planning, wealth transfer planning, estate planning strategies, or closely held business owner tax planning.
- Experience working directly with attorneys, financial advisors, fiduciaries, and other external client advisors.
- Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field, or JD, preferred.
- Experience using GoSystem, CCH Axcess, or similar tax software preferred.

Our professionals provide proactive planning and compliance support across individual, fiduciary, trust, estate, gift, charitable, and closely held business tax matters.

For Minnesota candidates, the expected salary range for this position is between $160,000 and $200,000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
