
Tax Specialist

From the employerMiniCRM, as part of http://group.one, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Specialist to join our Group Tax team in Budapest.
This is an exciting opportunity to grow your tax career in a fast-growing, dynamic and international business environment. In this role, you will support indirect tax, transfer pricing and M&A-related tax projects, while gaining broad exposure to international tax matters and cross-border business operations.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors across multiple jurisdictions and contribute to a wide range of international tax initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a well-rounded tax profile within a global organization.
What you will be working on
- Supporting the Group Tax team on international indirect tax matters, including VAT and other transaction tax topics.
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation, including local files.
- Supporting transfer pricing compliance activities and related analyses.
- Contributing to Mergers & Acquisitions / M&A and Post-Merger Integration / PMI tax projects.
- Conducting tax research and preparing analyses on various direct and indirect tax topics.
- Collecting, structuring and analyzing tax-related and financial data from various business units.
- Preparing, maintaining and evaluating tax-related reports, tables and dashboards for management reporting and decision-making purposes.
- Developing management presentations and summarizing complex tax matters in a clear, concise and business-oriented manner.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external advisors across multiple jurisdictions.
- Supporting ongoing tax compliance, tax audits and special tax projects as required.
What you will bring
- University degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field.
- Approximately 2–3 years of professional experience.
- Solid generalist tax background with exposure to multiple tax disciplines.
- Initial experience with transfer pricing documentation, particularly local files.
- Basic knowledge of indirect tax topics, especially VAT within an international business environment.
- Exposure to M&A-related tax matters is considered an advantage.
- Experience within an international group environment is beneficial, preferably within a related industry.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting and preparation of management-ready summaries.
