Job Summary
Tax Global Process Owner Manager in the Tax Technology and Transformation team. Responsible for managing the delivery of process, data, technology and transformation activities for Tax processes globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility will be to manage Tax processes, troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities for standardization, transformation & process improvements globally.
- Continually identify technology opportunities for Tax, assess feasibility, develop business case and co-ordinate implementation to ensure delivery of planned ROIs.
Ensure Haleon’s processes and systems remain in line with new and evolving tax legislation globally, specifically leading cross-functional projects with other GPOs, local finance and tech teams to implement technology solutions and business process changes needed to comply with E-Invoicing and E-reporting requirements.
Lead on engagements of third party and technology providers where required to implement solutions ensure Haleon’s requirements and standards are met.
Lead on the VAT configuration of SAP, understanding VAT structures and transactions and have deep experience using SAP from a VAT perspective.
Understanding of Indirect Tax data, advice on corrections needed and ability to determine correct VAT treatment of transactions.
Partnering with other business areas (e.g. P2P, O2C) to ensure upstream processes support Tax compliance more effectively, and other business process changes are tax assessed and supported by tax as appropriate.
Driving the execution of a communication, education and training strategy across tax, finance and the wider business to ensure business processes are kept aligned to tax’s expectations.
Work within the Global Tax team understanding Tax risks and critical areas of focused for an international tax function across multiple locations.
Preferred
Ability to understand Trade Compliance and Customers requirements.
Skills with automation and data and analytics platforms e.g. Power BI, PowerApps, Alteryx & AI.
Key Requirements, Skills, Qualifications
Degree holder, accounting or tax qualification. At least 5 years’ experience in Tax, working across multiple jurisdictions with experience on Indirect tax (VAT) as well as technology, process and compliance transformation.
Good Indirect Tax knowledge and strong SAP user, particularly regarding Indirect Tax configuration.
Experience leading projects and co-ordinating technology and business teams located across multiple jurisdictions to comply with e-invoicing and similar reporting requirements.
Proven track record of achievement in tax transformation and technology in a shared service / outsource model and large multinational environment.
Experience and confidence in building relationships with a wide range of senior stakeholders, including working with technology teams and local finance teams based in various countries.
Ability to work with culturally diverse teams, and appreciation of the different approaches of tax authorities globally.

PLN 206,195.00 - PLN 283,518.40 The salary range for this position is indicative and provided as a guide. The final offer may vary depending on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Further details regarding the total reward and benefits package will be shared during the recruitment process. Salary ranges may vary by location in line with local market conditions and applicable pay transparency regulations. Compensation information is shared for the primary location of this role. Where the position is advertised with additional locations the compensation range will be discussed during the recruiting process.
