Join Roche, where every voice matters. The Position We are looking for a Trade Compliance professional who thrives on autonomy and precision. In this role, you will work independently to support our export control frameworks and ensure full compliance across all local and global projects.
The Opportunity
Compliance Leadership: Ensure export control compliance at the Rotkreuz site in close collaboration with the Local Export Control Officer (LECO). IMCP Management: Take ownership of developing, monitoring, and refining the Internal Management & Compliance Program (IMCP). Product Classification: Actively support the classification of goods and conduct sanctions list, embargo, and dual-use checks (including releasing blocks) within SAP GTS.
License Management: Handle end-to-end license management, including the application and administration of licenses with the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). Process Optimization & Training: Define, implement, and continuously improve foreign trade processes and lead internal training sessions to foster a culture of compliance. Consulting & Projects: Act as a subject matter expert for internal departments and represent export control interests in both local and global projects.
Regulatory Monitoring: Stay ahead of changing regulations and ensure seamless implementation during operational audits and interactions with authorities.
experience
in Import, Export, or Trade, ideally within an international industrial environment. Regulatory Knowledge: Solid knowledge of Swiss, European, and international export control regulations; familiarity with US Export Control regulations (EAR) is an advantage. Technical Skills: Advanced user knowledge of SAP GTS and MS Office.
