• Summary/Objective

This role will be responsible for supervision and development of Trade Compliance associates, identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities within the department. This individual will understand and apply company DNA with regards to customer service and associates. The individual will need to develop and maintain a spirit of teamwork and empowerment among associates. As a Trade Compliance professional, the individual will assist all Samtec Huizhou with ensuring regulations set forth by government agencies are followed.

This role will not only supervise Trade Compliance Import and/or Export processes but will collaborate cross functionally with members of other Samtec departments to drive adherence to trade regulations and support in implementation of new trade controls. This individual will provide trade compliance and professional support to all company business units related to both import and export compliance including but not limited to Customs HTS code classification, training, export control, country of origin determination, and PC registration, monitor, closing. This individual will need the ability to think creatively to uncover innovative and creative solutions that will help protect and grow Samtec.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.

• Supervise day-to-day Import and Export Trade Compliance processes.

监督日常进出口贸易合规流程。

• Ensure adherence to China Import/Export regulations, including China export control, dural-use product control, and other China government agencies in all activities.

确保在所有活动中遵守中国进出口法规，包括中国出口管制、两用物项出口管制和其他中国政府机构的相关规定。

• Assistant on Customs check/audit/verification relevant with import and export activities.

协助进出口业务相关的海关核查/验估等。

• Determine product classifications for all imported/exported goods.

• Be responsible for PC BOM preparation, plan, executive, closing.

负责PC 的BOM准备、计划、执行和核销。

• Be responsible for PC classification/grouping on raw material & FG.

负责PC与原材料和FG的分类/归并。

• Be responsible for all bonded goods’ customs declaration for tariff pay when needed.

• Assist to prepare documents for customs credit enhancement.

协助准备海关信用提升相关文件。

• Cover import and export clearance documentation processing if need.

• Review all of import and export documentations, price accuracy, HS code accuracy before declaration.

• Assistant with TC manager for related job requirements.

• Teamwork on job to fulfill other needed.

• According to the internal audit team leader/deputy team leader’s yearly job arrangement to carry out the audit of relative import and export activities.

Required Experience

• At least 10 Years’ Experience in Customs & Trade Compliance or related regulatory field

至少10年及以上海关与贸易合规、物流、供应链或相关监管领域的工作经验。

• Preferred person who have good experience for processing trade.

有加工贸易经验者优先。

• Be familiar with China customs laws and regulations.

熟悉中国海关相关法律法规。

• Good communications and computer skills.

良好的沟通和电脑技能。

• Good ability to data analysis.

数据分析能力强。

• Basic English reading and writing.

基础英语阅读和写作能力

• Be able to work under pressure.

抗压能力强

• Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate various day-to-day activities simultaneously. 具备出色的项目管理能力，能够同时协调多项日常工作。
• Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.

Preferred Education

• Education with college or above. 大学或以上学历。

• Training required: Training about customs, CIQ, China export control and trade relative laws and regulations.
