As a Transfer Pricing - Intern/Trainee, you will engage in providing guidance and support to clients on transfer pricing matters, helping businesses establish and maintain appropriate pricing for transactions between related entities. As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices, supporting teams with basic tasks, and participating in projects. You will have the opportunity to observe and contribute to the team's success, developing your personal brand in a professional work environment.
In this role at PwC, you will be part of our Tax practice, where you will assist in navigating complex tax regulations and optimizing tax positions for our clients. You will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients. This position offers a chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope, allowing you to learn and grow. You will gather information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns, while upholding the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in providing advice and guidance on tax planning and compliance
- Participating in transfer pricing projects to help businesses establish appropriate pricing for transactions between related entities
- Conducting research and gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns
- Applying a learning mindset to develop personal skills and contribute to team success
- Assisting in the preparation of tax documentation and compliance reports
- Engaging in financial modeling and economic translation to support tax strategy development
- Reviewing legal documents related to tax regulations and corporate structuring
- Collaborating with team members to address tax dispute resolution and transaction services
- Utilizing knowledge of international taxation and Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) to optimize tax positions
- Developing commercial awareness by understanding how the business operates and its impact on tax services
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Economics, Accounting, Finance
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
