As a UK Tax Payroll - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy within our Tax practice. You will help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions, confirming compliance with tax laws and regulations. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and enhancing your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing increased ambiguity.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will review and analyze financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, developing a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing. Responsibilities
- Navigating complex tax regulations to optimize client tax positions and compliance
- Reviewing and analyzing financial data to prepare and file accurate tax returns
- Drafting tax documents and conducting tax research to support client strategies
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to inform tax planning and compliance efforts
- Preparing tax documents and regulatory submissions to meet compliance requirements
- Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex tax concepts and provide insights
- Upholding professional and technical standards in line with PwC's code of conduct
- Building meaningful client connections and anticipating their needs for tax services
- Embracing change and using creativity to generate new ideas and solve tax-related problems
- Developing a deeper understanding of the business context and adapting strategies accordingly
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce
- At least 3 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
