Your future team
- You will join a team of four tax professionals responsible for corporate income
- tax (CIT) across the Group. The team focuses on tax compliance, CIT reporting
- and settlements, while also ensuring alignment with tax regulations across the
- organization.
- You will be reporting to Group CIT Compliance Manager.
What you will be doing
- The main tax areas covered will be corporate income tax, withholding tax,
- minimum tax, tax accounting
- Prepare local GAAP provision for statutory reports
- Act as coordinator between external service provider and local ROCKWOOL
departments in order to collect, review, prepare and submit corporate income
tax declarations in a number of countries in Europe, North America and Asia
- Secure returns are prepared and submitted in timely and correct manner
- Secure logging of key documentation for the submitted return
- Secure proper accounting under IFRS and local GAAP
- Process tax payments on time
- Handle enquiries from the tax authorities
- Perform regular tax account reconciliation
- Perform standard reporting in the systems of Group Tax
- Keep up to date on local and global tax developments
- Work with key stakeholders
- Support in tax audits
What you bring
- Experience in taxes/tax accounting of 2-3 years (experience in international
taxes an/or shared service will be an advantage)
- Educational degree in finance/taxes/economy
- Ability to navigate and understand the differences between accounting results
and tax results
- Experience in preparation of CIT calculations
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Communicative proficiency in spoken and written German
- Tax advisor license would be an asset
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
