Tax Manager
Role description
From the employer###Position Summary### This position will be responsible for preparation of i) all aspects of the tax compliance process, (ii) assistance with all tax functions, including indirect taxes and tax audits, iii) assistance with the execution of tax planning initiatives, and iv) the preparation of quarterly and annual ASC 740 and UTP calculations and analysis. This position reports directly to the Tax Director and is located in downtown Houston, TX.
Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience.

###Qualifications### Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 7-10+ years of Corporate Tax experience, including Tax Accounting Oil and Gas Accounting
###Experience### Experienced technical background in federal, state and partnership taxation. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and research tools. Strong analytical and technical skills; detailed oriented. Strong interpersonal
###skills### to interact with all levels of the organization. Strong organizational
###skills### and work process orientation necessary; ability to prioritize workload and deliver results. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be an independent self-starter with a high level of confidence and a critical approach to matters. Physical
