requirements
execute end-to-end customs declarations with first-time-right accuracy, on-time submission, and compliant order closure, ensuring clear status visibility and correct invoice-basis preparation. Key Responsibilities: Receive and validate order requests (online/manual); guide customers on mandatory documents, timelines, and chase missing data. Set up orders in customs tools (e.
g. , Applite); verify Power of Attorney, commercial agreement, service scope (Importer Security Filing/waiver/declaration), cash/credit terms, cut-offs, and late-filing fee applicability. Conduct risk assessment (commodity addressability, country/location acceptance, Denied Party List screening, direct/indirect representation); accept/reject bookings and notify customers.
Assign execution (internal team or 3rd‑party agent), create/file declarations, submit to authorities, and manage corrections/amendments/cancellations upon customer request. Provide status visibility and update systems (e. g.
, Applite) on cleared events; execute order closure and archiving per local legislation; update Management Information System and customer KPIs. Prepare invoice basis and validate costs (service charges, duties/VAT, incidental, deferment), confirm vendor uploads, and coordinate with FinOps/Procure to Pay for accurate dispatch and Global Authority Matrix-approved corrections.

Accurate invoice-basis preparation (charges, duties, taxes, vendor costs, deferment usage) that enables correct invoicing and zero revenue leakage. Required Business / Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of customs regulations and country-specific procedures, including representation models; understanding of Harmonized System classification, duty/tax determination, and deferment accounts.
Proficiency with customs and billing systems (Applite, Kewill, CargoWise One, Global Customs Services System) and Excel-based validation. Risk & compliance expertise (Denied Party List screening, Authorized Economic Operator-aligned controls), documentation rigor, and audit readiness. High accuracy, process discipline, and deadline management in high-volume transactional environments.
Clear stakeholder communication with customers, Customer Experience, Ops, FinOps, vendors; effective exception handling and escalation (incl. Global Authority Matrix processes).

in forwarder or trading company, customs house broker or customs clearance department handling import logistics business.
Experience
handling import customs clearance in apparel industry more than a year Ability to work with good self-organization, accuracy, and priority even under pressure Good interpersonal & communication
