About the Role

Accounting Outsourcing

Advisory

Business restructuring, including bankruptcy, liquidations, voluntary administration

Forensic accounting and litigation support, including business valuations, investigations, and examinations

Business consulting, including financial modelling/forecasting

Indigenous Business Advisory

Transaction support, including due diligence and pre-lend reviews

Projects and Infrastructure Advisory.

As part of our team, you will work closely with local businesses, community organisations and industry leaders across North Queensland. You will have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, work on meaningful assignments and contribute to the continued growth of one of our region’s leading professional services firm.

About You

  • We are looking for people who are motivated, curious and passionate about building their career in North Queensland.

You may be

Studying or have completed relevant tertiary qualifications. Primarily Bachelor of Business/Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent. For Advisory roles, we are open to different disciplines and fields of experience

The ability to think critically, challenge assumptions and solve problems

Professional presentation with a friendly manner and proactive attitude

Strong IT and computer skills. You will embrace new technology and can adapt quickly

Have strong client service focus and excellent work ethic

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and discretion

Self-initiative and hunger to learn. We want you to ask questions, to clarify information and be proactive in your learning and advancement at BDO.
