We are looking for a talented Payroll Tax Analyst to join our Payroll team  for

Cummins Services – HR Operations at Cummins Comercializadora in San Luis Potosí,

SLP, Mexico.

Work Modality: Hybrid, 3 days on site, 2 days home office.

  • Ensure federal, state, and local payroll taxes are accurately calculated,

deposited, and filed on time for assigned jurisdiction.

  • Balance and reconcile payroll tax data against general ledger accounts on a

weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

  • Investigate and resolve agency notices, inquiries, and discrepancies in

coordination with third-party administrators.

  • Audit and maintain tax configurations within ADP GlobalView/SAP to ensure

accurate jurisdiction setup.

  • Perform annual W-2 processing, validation, and W-2c corrections in accordance

with IRS regulations.

  • Assist employees with complex payroll tax queries, retroactive calculations,

and gross-to-net tax adjustments.

  • Monitor changes in tax laws and document requirements for adjustments to the

payroll processing system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role, you will need the following

  • 3 to 5 years of dedicated US or CA payroll tax or full-cycle payroll

experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
  • Strong working knowledge of major HRIS/Payroll systems (e.g., SAP) and

third-party tax applications (e.g., ADP SmartCompliance).

  • Deep understanding of US/CA multi-state/province tax regulations, reciprocal

agreements, and tax reciprocity rules.

  • High degree of accuracy, strong organizational skills, excellent

problem-solving, and the ability to maintain strict data confidentiality.

  • Advanced English Level

Preferred

  • French Canadian language level is a plus.

Education, Licenses, and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or administration.
