International Tax Manager

Job Description

Overview

The International Tax Manager will act as a key business-facing advisor within the Group Tax function, supporting the identification, communication and management of international tax risks across bids, projects, transactions and cross-border operations.

The role

will provide practical advice on direct tax, withholding tax, treaty relief, VAT/sales tax, permanent establishment risk, transfer pricing implications and tax governance, working closely with finance, legal, commercial, treasury, HR and operations teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Experience

Experience

with M&A, reorganisations, country start-ups or closures would be beneficial. Professional tax, accounting or legal qualification preferred, such as CTA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, ADIT or equivalent. 5-7 years PQE Strong technical tax background with evidence of continuing professional development. Additional international tax or indirect tax

experience

would be advantageous. Proactive, practical and solutions-focused. Confident working with ambiguity and complex fact patterns.

Able to prioritise effectively and manage competing demands. Strong attention to detail while maintaining a commercial perspective. Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team.

Able to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders. Committed to high standards of governance, integrity and ethical conduct.
