We partner with the business to develop, maintain, and follow compliance policies, providing legal advice and guidance to support the business as necessary. Our team provides valuable oversight for Export Controls Rules and Regulations, Sanctions regulations and Customs governance. Partner with the best In this role, you will lead the development of certain aspects of the Baker Hughes Trade Compliance Program.

You will provide legal advice to our business on Export Controls, Sanction regulations and Customs rules. You lead trade compliance investigations and manage submissions and disclosures to the U. S.

government. As a Senior Legal Counsel for International Trade, you will be responsible for: Providing legal advice to our business on US Custom and Export Controls Rules and Regulations, Sanction regulations Leading trade compliance investigations and managing submissions and disclosures to the U. S.

experience

in Compliance & Regulatory Counsels Have admission to practice law and be in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar (or equivalent in other jurisdictions). Demonstrate solid

experience

with US & EU licensing and registration regimes, including dual use, military, and nuclear. Have

experience

in international trade law, including export compliance and sanctions. Show Strong negotiation and presentation

skills

and an excellent analytical ability Have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal and regulatory concerns to non-legal stakeholders.
