CLA is currently seeking a Property Tax Senior to join our State & Local Tax
(SALT) practice.
How you’ll create opportunities in this Property Tax Senior role:
- Review fixed asset detail documents submitted by clients required for
property tax renditions
- Work with client and property tax team to resolve identified data issues
- Receive training on Avalara software
- Utilize Avalara to prepare and review property tax renditions
- Work with clients from multiple industries, including but not limited to
Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail & Healthcare
- Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed
- Review and resolve property tax notices received from Assessors
- Identify discrepancies where filing an appeal may be required
- Develop and train team associates and interns to help them build inspired
careers
- Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get
results
What you will need
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 2+ years' of relevant experience required
- Experience in business consulting or services preferred
- CPA eligible preferred
Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay
competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors
such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge
may impact position of pay within the range.
The compensation range for this position in California is: $87,000.00 –
$146,000.00
The compensation range for this position in Washington is: $80,000.00 –
$136,000.00
