Manning Global, a premier global staffing and managed services provider specialising in worldwide leading sectors such as ICT, Engineering, AI, Automotive and Energy is recruiting for a Senior Tax and Finance Specialist on behalf of one of their blue chip international clients to join their organisation in Italy.

Responsibilities

Tax

  • Prepare and review all tax calculations and complete all the tax filing in compliance with laws and regulations (Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Taxes, local taxes etc.);
  • Prepare and review quarterly tax calculations;
  • Electronically submit all tax returns and payments to Tax Authorities in compliance with laws and regulations;
  • Manage any international tax matter involving the company (Transfer Pricing Documentation. Intercompany agreements etc);
  • Support HQ for any national or international tax project involving the company (CbCR, Pillar II etc);
  • Manage and assess tax assets on quarterly basis;
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits or tax inquiries, including appeal process;
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks;
  • Specify the tax filing rules based on local accounting GAAP;
  • Assistance in optimizing the local tax compliance process/work instructions, including business process related and tax process related;
  • Establish awareness network to enable the timely capture of new business scenarios and carry out accurately interpretation;
  • Advise local entity operation from tax aspect and exploring feasibility of local incentive policy;
  • Prepare, maintain and archive tax books required by local laws (VAT registers, FA book etc);
  • Prepare and send electronic invoices through SDI;
  • Check purchase invoices;
  • Support the Chinese Finance in any related tax matter;

Finance

  • Manage the financial statements and the accounting closing, such as prepare the financial statements and Notes and manage accounting closing, etc;
  • Manage the subsidiary compliance, such as, the external audit from audit company and quarterly checks from statutory auditor;
  • Manage and prepare the financial documents and books (such as Journal books, Inventory book etc), and others financial documents archive, etc.;
  • Supporting different teams for the preparation of ISTAT questionnaires and other statistical surveys;
  • Support project managers and accountants for the financial work related to public funded projects;
  • Supporting the management of the forecasting, such as lead and support the subsidiary's budget and forecast, etc.;
  • Support the management of the local bank, such as lead and support communication with banks, etc.;
  • Support the Chinese Finance in any related finance matter.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as tax specialist into multinational companies.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Italian language.
  • General knowledge IAS/IFRS/OIC.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting methods, tax laws and audits.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Sharp attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with tax softwares (Desktop Telematico, Tax Authorities’ website, Cassetto Fiscale etc).
