Sr Trade Compliance Analyst

As a Sr Trade Compliance Analyst here at Honeywell, you will ensure compliance with international trade regulations, develop and implement policies, and minimize risks related to import/export violations. You will report directly to our Director Trade Compliance and you’ll work out of our Markham, Ontario location on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

**Key Responsibilities**

• Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to import and export regulations
• Manage and oversee import and export documentation, including classification, licensing, and customs documentation
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions
• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on trade compliance matters, including training and awareness programs
• Stay updated with changes in trade regulations and communicate the impact to the organization, ensuring compliance with new requirements
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve trade compliance issues and mitigate risks

Qualifications

**YOU MUST HAVE**

• 5+ years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a multinational company
• Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, including customs laws, export controls, and sanctions
• Experience in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and compliance audits
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical solutions

The annual base salary range for this position is $81,000 to $108,000 in Markham, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
