From the employerWho are we looking for?
We are looking for a senior Tax Manager with strong expertise in local and international taxation, corporate tax planning, compliance and tax risk management. The ideal candidate is a strategic and commercially minded tax professional who can shape and execute the SLOVNAFT Group tax strategy, provide professional oversight of tax-related activities across the Group, and cooperate effectively with key stakeholders across SLOVNAFT and MOL Group.
What will you do?
Develop and execute the SLOVNAFT Group tax strategy in line with overall business objectives and strategic targets.
Coordinate international tax planning and tax risk management activities across SLOVNAFT Group entities.
Support business development projects such as acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations and other strategic initiatives to ensure tax-efficient solutions.
Cooperate with internal tax experts, external advisors, CFOs, tax managers, business leaders and other stakeholders across SLOVNAFT and MOL Group.
Identify and propose tax saving opportunities, including transfer pricing-related initiatives, and manage their implementation.
Ensure compliance with relevant tax requirements, including global minimum tax, windfall taxes and other applicable regulations.
Monitor current and future tax positions of SLOVNAFT Group entities and analyse major tax legislation changes.
Identify significant tax risks and propose effective solutions to eliminate or mitigate them.
What do we expect?
University degree in economics, business administration, finance, law, taxation or a related field.
Specialized knowledge in taxation, tax law and international tax legislation/directives.
At least 10 years of professional experience in tax, ideally in a Tax Manager or similar senior tax position.
Strong experience in corporate tax planning, tax compliance, tax risk management and transfer pricing.
Ability to understand business priorities and translate them into effective tax solutions.
Strategic thinking, commercial awareness and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, professional judgment and ability to work with confidential information.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Good command of MS Office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Salary: from 5500 EUR brutto/month. The advertised salary represents the minimum guaranteed base salary for this position. The final offer will be determined individually, based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
