Purpose
The Landside Product Manager (PH) is responsible for owning and growing the
Landside product portfolio, with a strong focus on Customs (MCS) and supporting
our First Mile (FM) product. This role combines product ownership with business
development accountability, driving revenue growth, margin optimisation, and
pipeline conversion while ensuring operational feasibility and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end performance of the Landside product portfolio in the
Philippines, with a strong focus on Customs (MCS) and support for First Mile
(FM) solutions
- Drive product strategy, offerings, and bundled logistics solutions aligned
with customer needs and commercial priorities
- Act as a product-led business development owner, driving pipeline creation,
qualification, and conversion
- Own and deliver on revenue, gross profit (GP), and margin performance,
including RFQs, pricing governance, and approvals
- Lead Go / No-Go decision-making based on product fit, operational
feasibility, and risk considerations
- Ensure strong operational alignment and cost optimisation across vendors,
outlays, and productivity levers
- Maintain compliance with Philippine customs regulations (BOC) and broader
trade requirements
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including,
- Revenue and GP growth
- GP margin %
- Pipeline conversion rates
- Reduction of loss-making accounts
- Cost control (vendor, outlay, productivity)
- Service performance and compliance
What we are looking for
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in logistics, with strong exposure to landside
operations and business development
- Proven experience in product, operations, or sales roles, with clear P&L
ownership and commercial accountability
- Strong understanding of haulage operations (port-to-port) and Philippine
customs processes and systems
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth and margin
discipline
- Demonstrated ability to assess deal profitability and make sound Go / No-Go
decisions
- Experience working across cross-functional teams with strong stakeholder
management skills
- Ability to translate customer needs into scalable, operationally viable
product solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across
a matrix organisation
- Licensed Customs Broker is an added advantage
