The primary corporate tax in Mexico is ISR, levied at a flat rate of 30% on taxable profits. Companies must also comply with value-added tax (IVA) at a general rate of 16%, and various other obligations such as information returns, annual financial statements, and electronic accounting. The main regulatory body is the Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT). Special regimes exist for certain industries, and compliance with transfer pricing rules (Precios de Transferencia) is crucial for transactions with related parties.
